1/08 and 1/11 Algebra 1 Honors HW

In Class- students used clickers to demonstrate knowledge of topics we have learned from Chapter 5
               students practiced all three methods of solving a system with partner (based on ability)
                students took notes on word problems involving systems
Homework- students must finish worksheet on word problems on separate sheet of paper; graded on accuracy and demonstration of showing work

1/06 and 1/07 Algebra 1 Honors HW

In Class- students practiced all three methods of solving a system using clickers

               students practiced all three methods with a partner (chosen based on ability)

               students took notes while teacher modeled

Homework- MathXL #s 1-23

1/04 and 1/05 Algebra 1 Honors HW

In class- students took a bellringer using the instant data remotes
Students took notes on elimination and worked with partners reviewing Chapter 6 skills to solving systems of equations

Tutoring Schedule for the rest of 2nd Quarter and 3rd Quarter

"Homework Help" will occur on Tuesdays and Fridays only from 2:55-3:35 pm. If prompt pick up is an issue students can walk to the library to be picked up after tutoring. Please be sure to let me know that your child has permission.
Thank you for being flexible with this change (the cancellation of Monday and Thursday tutoring sessions). I am in my LAST semester in graduate school and my schedule has changed! :)
If needed, extra help can be given if scheduled for Wednesdays (on non-early release days) by appointment only.
